Jamie Jones graduated from Cardiff Metropolitan University with a Fine Art Degree and is currently based in Cardiff. She has been developing her practice and collection of art work, 'The Raree Show' over the past year, and is focusing on print-making, as well as other creative media's. Jamie is inspired by works of women by Edgar Degas and Egon Schiele. Jamie photographs young women in natural poses, almost as an outside eye looking in on private moments, and creates multi-media pieces through these subjects. The collection challenges audiences to explore the sexual physicality of women, and draw their own conclusions about the lives of the subjects, and the unfinished space around them.
